Announcing an Investment from InvestInData

Today, we are excited to announce an investment from InvestInData, an angel investing collective of 50+ AI and data executives across companies like Amazon, Doordash, and Salesforce. 

At Patronus AI, we are on a mission to boost confidence in generative AI. Our customers have run millions of requests through the Patronus AI platform, and caught and prevented hundreds of thousands of hallucinations, security vulnerabilities, and other failures in AI outputs, both in offline and online settings. This is because we have developed powerful techniques that help customers reliably steer their LLM applications, thanks to our unique AI-research first approach. There is a big need for generative AI projects to hit production, and our platform enables them to do that.

For example, in July, we open sourced Lynx, the state-of-the-art hallucination detection model for RAG systems. It outperforms GPT-4o, Claude-3-Sonnet and all other LLM-as-a-judge models. Since its launch, it has been downloaded by tens of thousands of LLM developers and it has become an industry standard for LLM-as-a-judge approaches.

The InvestInData team did a thorough analysis of the market, leveraging their unique expertise to gain conviction in Patronus’ team and product direction. The group’s investment not only validates our vision, but also strengthens our mission to empower AI practitioners with the most powerful tools to use AI safely and confidently.
